Nordthailand Die nördlichste Stadt Thailands, Mae Sai, ungefähr 870 km von Bangkok entfernt, liegt am gleichnamigen Fluß an der Grenze zu Burma, das sich jetzt Myanmar nennt. Die Straße endet, nachdem sie eine Reihe von Geschäftshäusern passiert hat, an der sai-Brücke am Schlagbaum. Kinder in den jeweilgigen Trachten stehen als Fotomotiv bereit.
